In turn-of-the-century Mexico, Yaqui Joe, an Indian, pulls off a daring bank heist to acquire guns for his people, who are brutally oppressed by the government. Pursued by an American lawman, Joe's journey takes an unexpected turn when he forms an alliance with his pursuer, and together they join forces with Sarita to fight for the rights of the Indians.
