In the fictional city of Tromaville, a group of mutants band together to take down Dr. Killemoff, an alien with a passion for pollution, with their fearless leader, Toxie, a former nerd turned superhero.
A cartoon follows the plot of The Toxic Avenger films. Melvin, a nerd, falls into toxic waste and becomes Toxie, a giant, superhuman mutant. He teams up with other mutants, including No-Zone, Major Disaster, Head-banger, Dr. Bender, and Junkyard, to fight crime and protect the environment.
