Perry Como was an American singer who made his debut on NBC Radio. In 1948, due to his popularity, the cameras were brought into the radio studio for a live television broadcast that became known as "The Supper Club." In 1950, Como and his sponsors moved to CBS, where they presented "The Perry Como Chesterfield Show."
