In 1947, Mildred Ratched starts as a nurse at a prestigious psychiatric hospital. However, behind her polished appearance lies a darkening secret.

Mildred Ratched, played by Jennifer Esposito in "Ratched," is a suspenseful drama series about the origin story of an asylum nurse. Set in 1947, the show follows Mildred as she arrives in Northern California to work at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and disturbing experiments are taking place on human minds. Despite her façade of dedication, Mildred begins to infiltrate the system, revealing that true monsters are not born but made through manipulation and control.
