Two friends, Belle and Jessie, embark on a 24-hour road trip through California to help Jessie overcome a recent breakup. Along the way, Belle persuades Jessie to rekindle their original trip plans, which were meant to be taken with Jessie's now-ex. As the night wears on, their friendship becomes complicated when Jessie, in a state of drunken post-breakup vulnerability, shares a kiss with Belle, who is bisexual.
