Irish adventurer Emmett Keogh joins forces with a charismatic, whiskey-swilling priest, Van Horne, in Central America. Together, they team up with a cunning smuggler, Jennings, who tricks them into delivering guns. However, their mission takes an unexpected turn when they join the fight against ruthless despot Tomas de la Plata, who has a personal vendetta against the Catholic Church. Van Horne, whose priestly credentials are questionable, decides to lead a rebellion against the tyrannical leader.
