The Wizard of Oz background

The Wizard of Oz

A young girl from a dull Kansas farm is unexpectedly transported to the vibrant land of Oz, where she forges new friendships and is warmly received in the radiant Emerald City.

Dorothy's journey begins on a grey Kansas prairie, where a cyclone whisks her away to a vibrant world. She meets a Scarecrow who comes to life and joins her, along with a tin woodcutter, whom they revive and accompany. Along the way, they witness a unique animal reproduction before entering the Emerald City, where they're greeted by singing suits of armor and a parade of overweight guards. Their journey culminates in a meeting with the Wizard, a cunning figure who can transform eggs into chaotic forms, much to the dismay of Billina.
