Kirk Douglas plays Cactus Jack Slade, a notorious outlaw who lands in jail after a botched bank robbery. Offered a job by the corrupt bank owner, Jack is tasked with stealing a strongbox from Mr. Parody Jones, who borrowed the money to keep his mining operation afloat. However, Jack's plans are foiled by Handsome Stranger, a tough and strong hero who is sent by Parody to retrieve the money.
