The true story of June and Jennifer Gibbons, identical twins who grew up in a small Welsh town as the only black family. Known as "the silent twins" due to their unique bond, they developed their own language and became catatonic when apart. As teenagers, they're sent to Broadmoor psychiatric hospital after a vandalism spree inspired by an American idol. There, they face a choice: survive alone or die together.
