Margo Dey, a college student, works at a morgue at night, chatting with the deceased and comforting her grief-stricken colleague, George. Her quiet life is disrupted by the arrival of Peter, Nan, and their frightened daughter Jill, who are seeking refuge from a cold and dark night. As Margo helps them recover, they soon realize that something sinister is lurking in the morgue, trying to keep them trapped. When more strangers, including Jacob and Samim, arrive, the group must band together to escape the ominous threat and unravel the mystery.
