A Syrian refugee, Sam Ali, flees to Lebanon to escape the war, only to have his back transformed into a valuable work of art by renowned tattoo artist Jeffrey Godefroi. As his new body art attracts a high price on the market, collectors and human rights activists clash, leaving Ali desperate to escape the situation created by the man who profited from his skin.
