Frederick Bolton must solve two pressing issues. He must create a successful marketing campaign for a new stomach pill, "Aspercel", by the next day, while also fulfilling his daughter Helen's dream of owning a horse. Helen, a talented young rider, longs to own her own horse, but it's unaffordable for her father. Bolton devises a plan to combine both problems by entering Helen and a horse named Aspercel into jumping competitions, hoping to raise awareness for the pill while making his daughter's dream come true.
