The Gentle Gunman background

The Gentle Gunman

During World War II, two Irish brothers employed by the I.R.A. in the UK clash with their ruthless leader's tactics.

In this film, a IRA member named Terry undergoes a transformation after working undercover in London during wartime. He initially holds violent views, but his experiences lead him to reevaluate his stance. After his co-conspirators are arrested, Terry helps his brother Matt escape back to Ireland. Terry then follows Matt and the local group must decide what to do about him and the imprisoned IRA members who are being sent to Belfast.
