Struggling restaurateur Ronnie is in debt and caring for her elderly mother, while her boyfriend Jeff is good-hearted. Five years ago, Ronnie had an intense affair with British movie star Henry on a film set in Australia, but the relationship ended with Henry returning to his French girlfriend Sophie.
