A grieving man, burdened by debt and desperation, orchestrates a grave robbery with the undertaker's daughter to plunder the riches of the town's deceased. As he returns to his aunt's home, he begins to experience strange and unsettling occurrences that seem to be connected to the lives of those he stole from, leaving him to wonder if his conscience is playing tricks on him or if he's being haunted by the very people he robbed.
