The Black Corsair, Emilio di Roccabruna, Count of Ventimiglia, seeks revenge against Van Gould, who ten years prior murdered his father and stole his family's properties. Van Gould's treachery claims the lives of the Black Corsair's two brothers, the Green Corsair and the Red Corsair, while the Black Corsair is preoccupied with saving an Indian village from the Spaniards. He manages to rescue only Yara, and later, with the help of Morgan, orchestrates a vengeful plan against Van Gould.
