In a future setting, a group of young adults undergo a brain surgery that takes away their ability to speak, but enhances their telepathic abilities. The experiment, led by parapsychologist Luther Stringfellow, aims to explore the boundaries of human connection. However, as the subjects are exposed to aphrodisiacs and other drugs, their relationships become increasingly strained, ultimately leading to violence and tragedy.
