Slaves of Babylon background

Slaves of Babylon

The story takes place in ancient times, where a Jewish individual plays a crucial role in the coronation of a new Median-Persian monarch. As a token of gratitude, the king goes on to conquer Babylon, ultimately liberating all Jewish slaves from captivity.

The ancient city of Jerusalem is ravaged, and its Jewish population is forcibly enslaved by the mighty King Nebuchadnezzar. Meanwhile, Cyrus, a humble shepherd-turned-king of the Persians, rises to power and triumphs over Nebuchadnezzar, setting the stage for a dramatic turn of events.
