In the shadowy realm of 17th-century Japan, a humble peasant named Masa is forced into the unforgiving world of the Samurai, where he must confront the brutal and dark realities of their warrior clans.

The Samurai, a warrior class celebrated for their exceptional skills and loyalty, have a dark side revealed for the first time on television. Based on newly discovered war manuals, the story follows a young peasant farmer, Masa, who rises through the ranks from foot soldier to Samurai commander driven by his love for a noble-born village girl. However, his reward is betrayal, lies, and ultimately forced suicide by his fellow Samurai.
