Rude Awakening

Two counterculture enthusiasts flee the FBI in the 1960s and resurface in 1980s New York, only to find their former friends have transformed into affluent professionals.

Two hippies, forced to flee the FBI in the late 1960s, spend 20 years in seclusion in the jungle. In the late 1980s, they return to New York to warn of an impending US war, but find their former friends have become wealthy yuppies, no longer concerned with saving the world.
