In this romantic comedy, a reporter named Gallagher harbors a secret crush on her colleague, Smith, who unexpectedly marries a high-society woman named Ann. Feeling trapped in a loveless marriage, Smith turns to Gallagher for help in writing a play, and she arrives with a group of reporters to brainstorm.
