Fatah, a devoted Algerian farmer, has his heart set on winning the Salon de l'Agriculture competition in Paris with his prized heifer Jacqueline. After years of perseverance, he finally receives an invitation to participate. Setting off on an adventure, Fatah travels by boat to Marseille and then on foot to Paris, accompanied by Jacqueline, encountering surprises and unexpected events along the way.
