The annual salmon run, a vital source of sustenance for the Northwest Indian tribes, is disrupted by a new cannery on the river, operated by Banning. The Canadian cannery on the other side of the river, which had previously coexisted with the Indians, is now in danger of being destroyed, and Chief Nagora is framed for the crime.
