A young woman, Lili Daurier, finds herself stranded in a new town and is taken in by a circus troupe. She forms a special bond with the puppets, singing to them about her troubles and forgetting that there are puppeteers behind the scenes. As she sings, a crowd gathers, and the circus decides to make her a new act. But as she finds a sense of belonging and purpose, will she also find her heart's desire?
