In a post-apocalyptic world, eight survivors, including children and adults, have been living in an underground facility since birth. The group, led by Maria, is threatened by mutants and ghosts, and must protect themselves from the dangers above. Despite the risks, they must venture out to gather supplies, but when the ghosts pose a threat to their safety, they must make a desperate attempt to reach the surface.
