Two middle-aged siblings, Amedeo and Ofelia, try to sell their old condominium, but must first evict the stubborn tenants. When the beloved condominium cat dies, the siblings use the opportunity to insert themselves into the tenants' lives. Amedeo pursues a romance with young Wanda, while Ofelia charms the priest Don Pezzolla. Amidst the chaos, the police investigate the cat's mysterious death.
