Kyu-Nam, a former scrap metal worker, finds a new job at Utopia pawn shop, where he forms a connection with his boss and boss's daughter. However, his happiness is short-lived as he encounters Cho-In, a troubled individual with a supernatural ability to control minds. When Cho-In attempts to steal from the shop, Kyu-Nam unexpectedly resists his mind control, leading to a violent confrontation.
