A novice locksmith is uprooted from his loved ones to pursue a new career as a police officer in Buenos Aires.
A locksmith living with his mother in a small Argentine village is framed for theft and must start over after receiving a letter of recommendation from his uncle, a former policeman. He enrolls in the Police Academy and begins a rigorous training program, where he also starts an irregular love affair.
