Chow Hound background

Chow Hound

A clever canine concocts a plan to dupe unsuspecting homeowners into feeding him by posing as a cat, but his ruse is threatened by his insatiable appetite and the cat's constant forgetfulness of the gravy.

A greedy bulldog uses a cat and mouse to steal food from various homes. The cat poses as a pet, while the mouse helps with one scheme and the cat pretends to be a zoo cat in another. The bulldog demands "no gravy" when receiving the stolen food. Eventually, he holds the cat hostage, collects a reward, and then tricks the cat back into his clutches. The bulldog opens a butcher shop with his stolen money, but ultimately pays for his gluttony by getting his stomach pumped at a vet's office. The cat and mouse then seek revenge.
