A German scientist in West Berlin develops a formula to reduce metal fatigue, but dies before he can pass it on to his brother. The scientist's assistant gives the formula to his brother's secretary, who is kidnapped along with her boyfriend. A private detective named Duke is hired to find the kidnapped couple and discovers that everyone is after the formula, which is hidden in the woman's abandoned handbag.
