A middle-class couple in Buenos Aires, Marcos and Ana, have devoted 25 years to their son Luciano, sacrificing their own needs. When Luciano leaves for university in Madrid, the couple feels empty and disconnected, leading them to divorce and start new lives. Marcos moves in with a friend and meets new women, while Ana enjoys her newfound freedom. Despite sharing memories with their new partners, they struggle to find fulfillment in their new lives, leading them to question whether they've improved their existence.
