A fisherman marries a woman named Basanti, but she is kidnapped on their wedding night and left with amnesia. She regains her memory 10 years later and sets out to find her husband with their son, who worships her as a goddess. However, they face resistance from some villagers who are struggling to survive due to food scarcity.
