Liberty's Kids background

Liberty's Kids

Next show overview: A teenage American boy, a young English lady, and a French boy, all reporters for Benjamin Franklin, share their perspectives on the American Revolutionary War.

Benjamin Franklin recruits a diverse team of young people to document the events leading up to and during the American Revolution for his newspaper, the Pennsylvania Gazette. The team consists of James Hiller, a passionate patriot prone to impulsive decisions; Henri, a French orphan driven by the quest for food; and Sarah Phillips, a young woman with a strong anti-slavery stance, daughter of a former English general. Together, they journey across the colonies, bearing witness to the sacrifices made in the pursuit of freedom.
