Tsukimi Kurashita, a 19-year-old aspiring illustrator, has been fascinated with jellyfish since her childhood trip to an aquarium with her late mother. She now lives with five unemployed otaku women, feeling like an outcast. Her life takes a dramatic turn when a beautiful woman helps her rescue a jellyfish at a local pet store. The stranger, who appears confident, fashionable, and opposite to Tsukimi's group, starts regularly visiting the building.
