Two childhood sweethearts, Kay and Dave, were destined to be together. However, their love was derailed when Dave made a reckless mistake at 16, landing him in prison for eight years. Meanwhile, Kay was sent to foster parents and eventually married a successful businessman, Mike, with whom she had two children.
