Harish Kumar Patel, a student of Electronic Engineering, is sent to the US by his father to study and marry a girl of his choice. He meets the Bakshi family in Houston, Texas, and falls in love with a Malyalee girl named Supriya. However, things don't go as planned as he discovers that his friend Mohan is a snob who dislikes Indians, Supriya is in love with another man, and he's not invited to parties due to his accent and appearance.
