In Louisiana, a group of freshmen friends attend an underground party in the woods, where they unknowingly drink ecstasy-spiced punch. One of them, Jason, is attacked and killed by mutant vampire bats with extra fangs. As the police investigate, a biology professor discovers the bats are responsible and uncovers a sinister plot involving a corporation dumping toxic waste in the river, which modified the bats' breed.
