A young man in Havana, Raul, longs to flee to Miami, but his aspirations are put on hold when he's accused of assault. He turns to Elio, seeking his help to reach the distant shores of the United States, just 90 miles across the ocean.
In the midst of Havana's nervous desperation, Raul longs to escape to Miami. After being accused of assault, he turns to his best friend Elio for help, asking him to abandon everything to aid his escape to the distant shores of Miami.
