Aussie icon Paul Hogan is retired and living a quiet life in California, but his life is turned upside down when he's offered a knighthood for his services to comedy. He initially declines, but then tries to get it back to help his granddaughter's reputation after she's teased at school for saying he's a knight. However, things quickly go awry as Paul's brand is trashed by a series of embarrassing incidents, including accusations of racism and a brawl on Hollywood Boulevard. With his granddaughter losing faith in him and the media having a field day, Paul must decide whether to try to salvage his reputation or prioritize his family.
