Mark Whitacre, a high-ranking executive at ADM, is coerced into becoming an FBI informant to expose his company's illegal price-fixing practices. As he becomes more entrenched in his undercover role, Whitacre starts to believe he's a real secret agent, but his escalating deceptions ultimately lead to his downfall.
