George Hamilton II, a wealthy heir, returns from a Congo expedition and is swept off his feet by con artist Jean Harris and her father on a luxurious cruise. Despite being fleeced at the tables, Jean begins to develop feelings for George, but her true intentions are soon revealed. In response, Jean concocts a new scheme, leaving George to wonder if she's seeking revenge or trying to win him back.
