A couple's car is struck by another vehicle on a deserted road, and they're taken to a rundown motel by a suspicious sheriff. The motel's eccentric receptionist greets them, but strange noises and screams from the next room soon disrupt their exhausted rest. As they try to survive the night, they discover they're trapped in a twisted and deadly game.
