A group of women miners turn to crime after growing disillusioned with their lifestyle. They successfully rob a jewelry store, but struggle to sell the stolen goods and eventually trade them for cocaine. The women are caught by undercover police and sent to prison, where they face harsh conditions and abuse at the hands of a sadistic head guard. After a daring escape, the women go their separate ways, only to be tracked down by a wealthy collector seeking to recover a valuable ring stolen during the initial heist.
