Akshay Kumar plays the role of Lallu, an orphan who seeks a job in Bombay and becomes a loyal servant to a wealthy businessman. When his employer's daughter is found drunk in a nightclub, Lallu takes her home, leading to her being forced to marry him to inherit her father's wealth. However, she plots with her lover Amit to kill Lallu, making it look like an accident. But Lallu fakes his own death and returns as Inspector Vijay Kumar, a lookalike, to frame Amit for the crime.
