In a serene national forest, a sense of tranquility is disrupted by the onset of hunting season. While most bears retreat to a cave, one bear named Humphrey seeks refuge in a cabin, where he disguises himself as a bearskin rug to avoid detection. However, his new role brings him a series of uncomfortable and humiliating experiences, including being used as a nutcracker, bottle opener, and laundry item. After surviving the ordeal, Humphrey is left to ponder a shocking revelation when the hunting season comes to a close.
