When a government lease on a vast range land is set to expire, a ruthless landowner will stop at nothing to claim the property, leading to a violent confrontation with the original leaseholder and his men.

Buck Sinclair is in love with Beth Ringold, but her father George Ringold is his bitter enemy, pushing for her to marry his partner. Buck leases valuable government land, which Ringold and his partner want to obtain. When the lease expires, Ringold blocks Buck's bid, but a local rancher named Wildcat Roper helps Buck. Meanwhile, Roberts hires a professional gunman named Sundown to eliminate Buck.
