A grieving woman, fueled by anger and a desire for justice, travels to a secluded hotel in Norway where her sister's killer resides. Disguising herself as a travel journalist, she befriends the man and his wife, but when the opportunity to exact revenge arises, her courage falters. Instead, she sets out to destroy the man's life by taking away everything that matters to him, including his family and social status. As she exacts her revenge, the village is left in chaos, but the woman finds a sense of justice.
