In rural Thailand, a young orphan girl named Dau is mentored in the art of magic by her grandmother. When her grandmother falls ill, Dau travels to Bangkok to find work and buy medicine. She becomes trapped in a go-go bar, where she learns the harsh realities of adulthood. Utilizing her grandmother's magical teachings, Dau gains power, but also earns the wrath of her new acquaintances. As her magic becomes increasingly twisted, Dau's grip on reality falters, and an evil presence begins to consume her.
