Outward Bound background

Outward Bound

The 1944 film "Frenchman's Creek" was later reimagined as "Between Two Worlds".

A young couple, Henry and Ann, make a secret pact to leave their life behind and embark on a mysterious journey aboard a passenger ship. As they set sail, they're joined by a cast of eccentric characters, including a tipsy young man named Tom Prior, a wealthy businessman, a Catholic priest, a socialite, and a working-class woman. As the journey progresses, Tom uncovers the true nature of their trip, and each passenger meets with a mysterious figure named Thompson to discuss their life. But will Henry and Ann be able to fulfill their pact and start anew, or will their plans be derailed?
