In feudal Japan, ninjas are hunted by the government, but a few survivors remain. Princess Koh, desperate to save her clan from famine, sets out to Edo with her men, including Denzo, a former ninja hiding his true identity. As they cross a forest, they encounter a mysterious monster, and Denzo risks his life to protect Koh.
